DESPITE Shaun Wane’s promised rotation of the squad, George Williams remains part of the England group that will face France on Saturday.
The Warrington Wolves half-back retains his place in the 19-man squad for the Rugby League World Cup Group A clash at the University of Bolton Stadium as England look to follow up last weekend’s stunning win over Samoa.
Wane has previously said that all seven players who did not feature in Newcastle will play on Saturday and as such, the likes of John Bateman, Ryan Hall and Mikolaj Oledzki come in.
Joe Batchelor, Kai Pearce-Paul, Andy Ackers and Marc Sneyd are also set to feature while Warrington-born former Wire prop Mike Cooper is among those to miss out.
Tommy Makinson, Morgan Knowles, Matty Lees and Mike McMeeken are also left out of the 19.
