LUKE Gale will serve a two-match ban for an incident spotted by the Match Review Panel during The Wire’s defeat to his Hull FC side yesterday.
The Black and Whites captain has been charged with a Grade B tripping offence that was deemed reactionary/reckless by the panel.
The incident occurred during the first half of Wolves’ 18-16 loss at the MKM Stadium.
No Wire players have been issued with charges, with Ben Currie facing no further action having been sin-binned during the first half.
The second rower was sin-binned for a professional foul but the panel have deemed the yellow card to be sufficient punishment.
