WARRINGTON Wolves' Halliwell Jones Stadium staged its first match 20 years ago today.
On February 21, 2004, there were 14,206 people crammed inside as Wolves started a new chapter with a 34-20 defeat of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.
Nathan Wood scored the first try on the ground, while Paul Wood crossed twice and there were also scores from Dean Gaskell and Lee Briers.
