WARRINGTON Wolves did their bit, but fell just short of finishing in Super League's top two

They wrapped up the regular season in style, passing 50 points for the second game in a row while also making it three games without conceding a try as they thrashed London Broncos.

For the second consecutive week, Matty Ashton scored a hat-trick of tries to extend his superb scoring run to 16 tries in his last 11 Super League matches.

Warrington scored 10 tries in all, with Matty Nicholson and Arron Lindop also running in braces.

Ben Currie notched his first try of the season, with Josh Thewlis and James Harrison also on the scoresheet.
