WARRINGTON Wolves put Huddersfield Giants to the sword as they racked up their biggest home Super League win of the season at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Wire took a grip of the game early on, with Paul Vaughan opening the scoring after two minutes.

With Toby King and Connor Wrench also crossing, and skipper Stef Ratchford converting all three efforts, Wire turned around with an 18-0 advantage and rarely having been troubled at the other end.

When George Williams and Matt Dufty combined to send Josh Drinkwater between the sticks three minutes into the second half the contest was over.

Matty Nicholson and Matt Dufty progressed Wire to 36-0 by the 55th minute mark, thanks to Ratchford maintaining his conversion perfection.

Ratchford then crossed in the corner and Rodrick Tai wrapped up the night as Wire's eighth different try scorer.
