WARRINGTON Rylands have confirmed the permanent signing of a key member of their recent resurgence.
Towering striker George Waring has impressed since joining on loan from Curzon Ashton and last night, the club confirmed they had paid an undisclosed fee to make him a full-time member of their squad.
The 29-year-old was brought to Gorsey Lane last month and has since made six appearances, scoring twice including the equalising goal in Saturday’s FA Trophy victory at Scunthorpe United.
He also netted during the previous round’s 4-0 win over Ossett United.
Waring and his Blues teammates enjoyed an unexpected night off on Tuesday after their scheduled trip to Gainsborough Trinity fell victim to the recent wintry weather.
Rylands return to Northern Premier League Premier Division action on Saturday when they welcome Ilkeston Town to Gorsey Lane.
