WARRINGTON racing queen Daniella Sutton is continuing to reach for the top in motorsport.

The 16-year-old is setting her sights high, with bold ambitions to summit the pinnacle of UK and world motorsport, with competing in Formula 4 her next target and then to be selected for the F1 Academy.

A new sponsorship deal she has agreed is going to help her along the way.

The St Gregory’s High School year 11 student’s success so far has put her on the upward trajectory.

She won the Total Karting Zero UK North Championship in 2022, as well as being named the “Best Performance by a Junior” at the British Women’s Racing Drivers Club (BWRDC) awards evening in 2023.

Daniella was seeded fourth from 33 drivers in the Daniel Ricciardo Series UK Championship during her 2023 karting campaign.

And this year Daniella was crowned the UK’s first British Racing & Sports Car Club (BRSCC) Scholarship winner in a three-day shoot-out against more than 50 drivers at Blyton Park Circuit in Lincolnshire.

The prize, worth over £65,000, was to compete with professional race team, 20Ten Racing, throughout 2024 in the BRSCC Junior Fiesta Championship.

Although it has been a challenging season as the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship scholar, Daniella competed well in her first year of circuit racing.

Her performances at Oulton Park were a particular highlight, while Daniella continued to display confidence at new circuits and in a range of different conditions.

Despite not sitting in the car until February, Daniella made significant progress within 20Ten Racing.

It is considered she has acclimatised herself well in her rookie season, racing at places like Silverstone, with the highlight best result was finishing fifth from 19 in the MK7 Fiesta category at Oulton Park.

Now preparing for 2025, Daniella will have the Morson Group as her anchor sponsor and will be aiming to put together a programme to continue her racing journey.

She now has around 40 per cent of the budget secured for next year and will be looking to partner with more businesses.

With only four per cent females involved in the upper echelons of motorsport, Daniella is a proud advocate for change.

She is the only female racing driver in her MK7 junior Fiesta class and believes that Morson Group are a company that can help to remove barriers for women in motorsport.

With more business support, Daniella believes it is only a matter of time until we see a future female F1 driver.
