PAUL Carden’s search for fresh faces to add to his Warrington Town squad has borne fruit.
Yellows have secured a new loan signing, with defender Noah Halford joining from League One side Bolton Wanderers.
He has joined on a one-month deal and is available for Town’s National League North trip to Darlington this afternoon.
Halford, 19, has progressed through the Wanderers academy and “B team” set-up and is set to provide defensive cover at a key time.
Of the current centre-back options, Evan Gumbs has incurred a one-match suspension for picking up five yellow cards which will rule him out of South Shields’ visit to Cantilever Park next weekend, Peter Clarke has only just recovered from knee surgery and Hamish Douglas’ loan from Rotherham United is approaching its end, although the club are understood to be keen to secure an extension.
