WARRINGTON Rylands have made a push to attract fans looking for a live football fix during the international break to their home game on Saturday.
With no Premier League or Championship action this weekend as international fixtures take precedence, it is often a time in which football fans take in a game at their local non-league club.
And for Rylands, it falls on a home game as they welcome Stockton Town to Gorsey Lane in the Northern Premier League Premier Division and they have made a special offer to fans wishing to attend.
Adults can gain entry into Saturday’s game along and sort themselves out with food and something to drink – the offer includes a burger or hot dog and a pint of beer – for just £15 while junior fans can get their ticket, food and a soft drink for just £5.
The offers can be redeemed simply by showing up to the turnstiles for Saturday’s game, which kicks off at 3pm.
Blues will be hoping a bumper crowd can cheer them on to their first home league victory of the season to start a turnaround in fortunes given they currently sit second-from-bottom of the NPL Premier Division table.
However, they come into the game having secured their first victory under new manager Neil Reynolds last time out by beating Stocksbridge Park Steels on penalties in the FA Trophy.
