LUKE Littler faces the prospect of a packed 24 hours in his latest tournament this weekend.
Warrington’s teenage sensation will be looking to win in Belgium for the second time this year as he competes in the Flanders Darts Trophy in Antwerp.
However, his return to the country in which he scooped the Belgian Darts Open tournament will see him have to wait until Saturday evening to take to the oche.
The action starts this afternoon with first-round matches taking place all day, but Littler does not enter the tournament until the second round.
Those matches start tomorrow and even then, the 17-year-old’s match against either Jermaine Wattimena or local qualifier Brian Raman will be the last match on stage during the evening session, which gets underway at 6pm UK time.
Should he progress, third-round matches will be played on Sunday afternoon before the quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final on Sunday evening, meaning he could end up playing five matches of increasing length within 24 hours should he make it all the way to the final.
Live coverage of the event in the UK will be available on Viaplay, with the action also streamed live on PDCTV.
