WARRINGTON Rylands remain at the wrong end of the ladder after a third successive loss to the start of their new Northern Premier League season.
Blues, who welcomed back skipper James Neild, were defeated 1-0 at home by Whitby Town, adding to the 1-0 loss at Hebburn Town last Saturday and the 4-3 fall to Ashton United at Gorsey Lane in midweek.
Half-time substitute Joseph Gibson netted the all-important goal for the East Yorkshire side in the 76th minute, which came against the momentum of play.
Warrington Rylands: Luke Pilling, Clive Smith, Dylan Dwyer, Dylan Thompson, James Neild, Liam Morris, Ben Hardcastle, Dean Furman, Ntumba Massanka, Ben Hough, Jake Burton. Subs: Luke Porter, Sam Burns, Dana Amaral, Matthew Regan, James Baillie.
Rylands travel to Lancaster City in the league on Tuesday.
