THERE was an age-group “one-two” for Warrington Athletics Club at a race organised by neighbouring club Spectrum Striders this week.
The Forest Park 5km ladies race, which saw competitors run from Birchwood Brook to Birchwood Forest Park, saw Louise Blizzard finish just ahead of Georgina Walker in the over 45s age group.
Both finished in the race’s top 10 overall, with Blizzard coming home sixth in a time of 21mins 20secs.
Second-claim member Walker was close behind, finishing 10th in 21mins 45secs.
