TWO rugby league cup finals will take place at Victoria Park Stadium on Saturday.
The Stuart Middleton Foundation Warrington Cup deciders will be contested in a double header, marking the unofficial start to the open-aged amateur season.
At 12.30pm, Latchford Albion will face Burtonwood Bridge in the Alliance final.
Burtonwood received a bye to the final, while Albion overcame a spirited Bank Quay 30-16 in the semi-final to secure their place.
Following that match’s conclusion, Crosfields and Woolston Rovers will meet in the Warrington Cup Final at 3pm.
This will be the start of renewed rivalry between the town's top two open-aged sides, with Woolston having sealed promotion last- season and joined Soap in National Conference League Division One for the 2024 season, which starts a week later with Rovers at home to Oulton Raiders and Crosfields home to Skirlaugh.
Entry to the cup finals is free, with food and drink available throughout the day.
Alliance Cup Final: Latchford Albion v Burtonwood Bridge, 12.30pm.
Main Cup Final: Crosfields v Woolston Rovers, 3pm
