THREE club stalwarts were recognised for their service when they were inducted into the Woolston Rovers ARLFC hall of fame at the 2024 season launch dinner staged at a packed Masonic Hall.
John Keefe, Mark Brookhouse and James Bell each received a standing ovation as they were called up to receive their hall of fame shirt.
Brookhouse also presented heritage numbers to many of the past players who were in attendance.
Earlier in the week former Woolston, Warrington, Oldham, Rochdale, Swinton and Great Britain centre Ronnie Duane presented the very first heritage number to Joe Chamberlain, who was a member of the inaugural team in 1959.
Current NCL coach Liam Lawton also took to the stage to give an insight into how pre-season training is going in preparation for the new campaign in Division One, following the Play Off Grand Final victory last season.
