THERE was a battle for family bragging rights amid Warrington & District Motor Club’s participation at their latest race meet.
And it was Lauren Groves who edged out her father Trevor for the household honours across two days of rallying at the Pentraeth Glyn Memorial stages in Anglesey.
The course combined the original circuit with special gravelled areas and it was Lauren’s Citroen C1 that performed the best – she finished 27th overall and sixth in class.
Father Trevor kept fairly close in his Porsche, finishing just behind his daughter in 29th overall and eighth in class.
