WARRINGTON’S Luke Littler has discovered when his first ever PDC World Darts Championship campaign will start.
The 16-year-old sensation, who was crowned PDC World Youth champion on Sunday following victory over Holland’s Gian Van Veen in the final, is gearing up to take to the famed Alexandra Palace stage for the first time.
Monday’s draw paired him with Dutchman Christian Kist in the first round, and their tie will be among the last opening-round matches to be played.
Padgate Academy pupil Littler and Kist will face off during the evening session on Wednesday, December 21, immediately before two-time champion Peter Wright takes to the stage for his second-round match.
Whoever progresses will be back in the evening session the following day – Thursday, December 22 – for a second-round clash with UK Open champion Andrew Gilding.
