RHIANNON Dixon certainly left her mark on Katharina Thanderz during last night's European title fight at Wembley Arena.
The Great Sankey boxing star, trained by Anthony Crolla, made it nine wins from nine professional fights as she defeated the Norwegian to become European champion.
It was only the second time the former world title contender had been defeated, making it Dixon's best win of her career so far.
Afterwards, there was hardly a blemish on Dixon's face following her winning 100-90 on the scorecards of all three judges.
But Thanderz's face was quite the contrary, with a cut, swelling and bruising showing just how Dixon had made her punches count over 10 rounds.
