TWO Wire Gymnastics Club competitors are celebrating their greatest achievement in the sport to date.
Mia Koll and Millie Simpson both won medals at the Over 18s British Championships held at Lilleshall.
Koll, 19, a student at Carmel College, St Helens, brought home gold with Simpson, 18, a student at Warrington & Vale Royal College, collecting the silver.
The pair, coached by Zara Gallichan, fended off competition from 58 rivals to finish first and second in the country.
Furthermore, Koll was also crowned British champion on the bars and Simpson, who is also a trainee coach at her club, took the British title with her floor routine.
“This is an incredible achievement for the two gymnasts,” said Wire Gymnastics Club head coach Ema Doherty.
“They have both done gymnastics for many years but this is their greatest achievement so far.
“Mia and Mollie trained hard for over six months to prepare.”
