THE British Swimming Summer Championships invitations to Warriors of Warrington swimmers are confirmed.
Qualifications to the Brits later this summer are based on achieving a top 24 time in the country in the designated race – top 18 for the 800m and 1500m distances.
The following Warriors have excelled and swam at the highest elite level to be among the best in the country, qualifying and receiving an invite to swim in the British nationals:
In the men/open section:
George Daintith, born 2008, three events – 400 free, 800 free and 1500 free
Joe Ashley, 2008, six events – 200m free, 400m free, 100m breast 200m breast, 100 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM
Ronnie Weall, 2007, three events – 200 free, 400 free and 800 free
Matthew Warburton, 2005, two events – 800 free and 1500 free
Women:
Iris Hurst, 2010, two events – 200 free, 100 back, 200 back and 200 fly
Isobel Hitchmough, 2009, one event – 1500 free
Emily Hall, 2010, one event – 200 back
Jasmine Bouaziz, 2009, one event – 100 fly
Gabriella Hunt, 2008, four events – 50 breast, 100 breast, 200 breast and 200IM
Kerry Hennie, 2008, seven events – 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 400 free, 800 free, 1500 free, and 200 back
Payton Chesters, 2008, one event – 1500 free
Sophie Weston, 2006, three events – 50 back, 100 back, and 200 back
Additionally there are Home Country Nationals (England, Wales, Scotland) for swimmers below the British tier with qualifications based on achieving the next top 22 times in the country in the designated race (16 for the 800m and 1500m distance).

Any parents of children aged six and above who can swim one length confidently should contact Darren Ashley at headcoach@swimwarriors.org.uk if you would like your child to develop their competitive swimming.
Warriors train at Livewire Orford Jubilee and Woolston Hubs.
