WARRINGTON Masters Swimming Club are well represented in the short course listings of the FINA Masters Swimming World Top 10 Rankings for 2022 that have just been published.
After some excellent swims last year, especially at the Swim England Masters Short Course Championships in October, the club have achieved a number of individual and relay top 10 rankings.
They are as follows:
Ben Harkin (age group 40 to 44): 100m freestyle 10th, 200m freestyle 6th, 100m butterfly 6th, 200m butterfly 7th
Chris Rix (age group 45 to 49): 400m freestyle 8th, 200m backstroke 8th
Mark Jones (age group 60 to 64): 800m freestyle 10th, 1500m freestyle 6th
Graham Padgett (age group 75 to 79): 200m freestyle 6th, 400m freestyle 1st, 800m freestyle 1st, 1500m freestyle 1st, 200m backstroke 5th
Men's 200m freestyle relay (age group 200 to 239): 8th (Ben Harkin, Russ Mason, Spencer Glover, Chris Rix)
Men's 200m medley relay (age group 200 to 239): 3rd (Trevor Eland, Ben Harkin, Spencer Glover, Russ Mason)
Men's 400m freestyle relay (age group 200 to 239): 2nd (Ben Harkin, Russ Mason, Spencer Glover, Trevor Eland)
Men's 400m medley relay (age group 200 to 239): 2nd (Chris Rix, Russ Mason, Ben Harkin, Spencer Glover)
Men's 800m freestyle relay (age group 240 to 279): 2nd (Russ Mason, Graham Padgett, Mark Jones, Chris Rix)
