WARRINGTON Rylands’ home game this coming weekend will kick off earlier than planned.
Blues and visitors Nantwich Town have mutually agreed to move the kick off time of Saturday’s Northern Premier League Premier Division clash forward by two hours.
The match at Gorsey Lane will now kick off at 1pm, in line with several other matches in the division.
This is to avoid a potential clash with England’s Round of 16 match at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar – should they qualify in second place in Group B, their knockout game will kick off at 3pm UK time on Saturday.
Warrington Town are also at home on Saturday afternoon but at this time, it is understood there are no plans to alter the 3pm kick-off time of their clash with Stalybridge Celtic.
Gareth Southgate’s side face neighbours Wales in their final group game tomorrow night (kick off 7pm UK time) knowing a win will seal top spot in the group, in which case their last-16 encounter will take place on Sunday evening.
Only a defeat by four goals or more will see them exit the tournament completely but failing to win opens the door for either the USA or Iran to overtake them and claim top spot.
