JOSH Seary will remain with Warrington Town until the new year.
Yellows have confirmed the young full-back’s loan deal from Championship side Preston North End has been extended until January 2.
The extension means Seary will be available for Town’s next seven matches – potentially more depending on their progress in the FA Trophy.
Having joined in pre-season, the 18-year-old has appeared in all but two of Yellows’ 24 games in all competitions this season.
Manager Mark Beesley believes Seary has developed a lot in his time at Cantilever Park and is looking forward to seeing his continued growth.
“It’s great news – we’re thoroughly delighted Josh will be here until January at least,” he said.
“He’s been great for us – he’s took to us and we’ve took to him, and he’s been outstanding in some of his performances.
“He’s learnt a lot from his point of view, he’s got better and better.
When he first came in he was 17, he’s 18 now and for an 18-year-old to be playing this many games in this league is a credit to him.
“We would like to thank Preston for their continued co-operation, from the first team manager right through to the loans department.
“We’re thrilled to have him and hopefully he can keep making an impact with us.”
