AS expected, Shaun Wane has rung the changes to his England squad for their final Rugby League World Cup group game.
With progress to the quarter finals already assured, England face minnows Greece at Sheffield’s Bramall Lane on Saturday knowing a win will seal their place as Group A winners.
Skipper Sam Tomkins is among those rested, with half-back George Williams to captain the side in his absence.
St Helens trio Tommy Makinson, Morgan Knowles and Matty Lees come back in having sat out last weekend’s win over France, with Wigan’s Mike Cooper and Catalans’ Mike McMeeken also returning.
Herbie Farnworth, Michael McIlorum and Elliott Whitehead will sit the game out, with Kallum Watkins ruled out under concussion protocol.
Saints second rower Joe Batchelor and Wigan’s Kai Pearce-Paul have already been confirmed to be making their debuts against the Greeks.
