WARRINGTON Rylands have boosted their squad for the promotion run-in with a trio of signings.

South Africa international midfielder Dean Furman is perhaps the headline capture, while full-back Johnny Hunt and goalkeeper Will Appleyard have also signed on.

All three players are available to make their Blues debuts when they welcome Glossop North End to Gorsey Lane tomorrow.

Furman, who has won 58 caps for South Africa, has been playing in the National League for Altrincham after an extensive career in the Football League.

The 33-year-old can list Oldham Athletic, Bradford City, Doncaster Rovers and Carlisle United among his former clubs either side of a spell in his home country with SuperSport United.

Left-back Hunt, 31, won the FA Trophy with Wrexham back in 2013 - scoring the winning penalty in the shoot-out win over Grimsby at Wembley - and has also had spells with Chester, Cambridge United, Mansfield Town and Stevenage in England.
