CASEY Brown finally has a date for his long-awaited professional boxing debut.
The former Phoenix Fire ABC amateur, who turned pro late last year, will have his first paid fight on Sunday, September 12.
Brown – a veteran of more than 100 amateur bouts with the Warrington Fire Station-based club – will feature on a VIP Boxing card at Bolton’s Whites Hotel against an opponent to be confirmed.
Also featuring on the same card will be Great Sankey’s Rhiannon Dixon, who has had to wait almost two years for her third professional fight after winning her first two.
An opponent for Dixon, who spent last year working on the Covid wards at Whiston Hospital as a pharmacist – is also to be confirmed.
Her last fight was a points victory over Bojana Libiszewska in December 2019.
Tickets are available from vipboxing.co.uk or by calling 01942 874241.
