Northwich 23 Lymm 33.
LYMM RFC start their league season on Saturday after a pre-season friendly win at Northwich.
Lymm travel to Stoke in Powergen North Two West at the weekend and they will be able to take encouragement from the promise shown by some of their younger players in their friendly triumph.
Adam Fletcher, who is the new club captain after returning from Preston Grasshoppers two years ago, scored a first-half try, as did David Williamson and coach Chris Kinsey.
Nick Shaw converted all three tries and Lymm led 21-13 at half time, having lost Peter Millachip with bruised ribs during the first period.
A superb try from Williamson put Lymm further in front and, although Northwich hit back, Paul Morris crossed between the posts to confirm victory.
Youngsters Tom Bray and Jack Johnston were in impressive form, as was Lithuanian Darius Miksys.
Lymm: Jason Cundick, Paul Maguire, Adam Cox, Bruce McNichol, Rob Calderbank, Darius Miksys, Andy Williamson, Peter Millachip (Lee Price 20mins), Chris Kinsey (Tom Baker 40mins), Nick Shaw, Jack Johnston, Tom Bray, Adam Fletcher, Paul Morris, David Williamson.
