WOLVES' under 21s will travel to Odsal to face Bradford Bulls in the first round of the Senior Academy Championship play-offs on Saturday at 3pm.

Despite leading the way in the opening few weeks of the season, Wolves finished their campaign in sixth spot after a 22-10 home defeat against St Helens on Monday.

That means they are away to third-placed Bradford in the elimination play-off, with a trip to Wigan or St Helens awaiting Wolves if they win.

Wolves were also beaten 44-4 at Leeds in their penultimate match on Thursday, with Steve Pickersgill scoring Warrington's only try.

Wolves: Kevin Penny; Matty Blythe, Sam Gee, Anthony Jerram, Harry Archer; Martin Ridyard, Steven Roper; Steve Pickersgill, Michael Johnson, Mike Cooper, Lee Mitchell, Ben Harrison, Anthony Rourke. Subs: Dave Saxon, James Simon, Jake Emmitt, Chris Hull.

The under 18s, who suffered a 48-0 home defeat against Leeds at Wilderspool on Saturday, entertain Hull at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday at 12.30pm in the curtain raiser to the club's Super League clash.

The match is the last game of Wolves' Junior Academy Championship season and, although both clubs are already guaranteed a place in the play-offs, the winners will take fifth with the losers finishing sixth.
