WARRINGTON Town’s under 15s schoolboys progressed to the final of the Cheshire Senior Cup following a narrow victory over familiar foes Macclesfield.
A superb strike from Joey Newton was the difference between the two sides, with Warrington going on to face Wirral Schoolboys in the final at Middlewich Town FC on Tuesday, kick off 6.30pm.

TOWN’S schoolboys are proving to be the curse of Macclesfield in the cup competitions, as they progressed to the final of the Greater Manchester County Cup with a resounding 7-2 victory.
They will now face Manchester Schoolboys in a tough final, with the match being played at the Manchester FA in the Salford Sports Village on May 15, kick off 5.30pm.
Chris Bibby notched a brace to get Town in the lead, but the visitors grabbed one back.
Town dominated the visitors in the second half, with Chris Bibby completing his hat-trick, James Baillie adding a brace and Brad Parker and Lloyd Powynall also netting to complete the rout.
