WARRINGTON Town Junior Netball Club are aiming to build on recent team and individual successes.
The under 15s and under 16s sides went into the adult Warrington and District League summer campaign this week on the back of winning titles.
Town’s younger team were unbeaten en route to finishing top of their division in the Cheshire 2010/11 Junior League, while the under 16s lost only once on the way to being crowned champions of adult Warrington and District 2010/11 Winter League Division Three - with Lauren Bush winning the division’s player of the season award.
Six members of the under 16s squad - Kim Schmider, Emily Hull, Ashleigh Height, Emily Smith, Sophie Bates and Lauren Bush – and three of the under 15s players –Hannah Dearden, Danielle Bush and Lucy Bradley– have been part of the Cheshire full and development squads for the 2010/2011 season.
Hannah Dearden and Danielle Bush have been selected to attend North West under 14s talent trials on the strength of their performances.
Town’s dedicated coaches are commiting time and effort into continuing the success and are looking for more young players.
Junior training is on Tuesdays from 5pm to 7pm in the sports hall at Birchwood Tennis and Leisue Centre.
