Lymm u18 28 Sheffield u18 20
LYMM’S Senior Colts completed a treble of trophy triumphs after lifting the Cock ‘o’ the North Challenge Cup at the weekend.
They had to come from behind to do it though.
Sheffield’s players made their power pay in the early exchanges at Huddersfield, racing into a 12-0 lead midway through the first half.
Andy Rowley touched down to start Lymm’s fightback, which culmiminated in further touch downs for Rowley, again, Mawe and Giles Dugdale.
Tom Shard converted all four scores to clinch victory for the Warrington team, who already have claimed the Raging Bull Colts League’s Section A title and the same competition’s League Cup.
