WARRINGTON Wolves have confirmed that loose forward Ben Harrison did not suffer a fractured ankle in the Challenge Cup fourth round tie against Keighley Cougars on Sunday.
Harrison was stretchered off after 10 minutes of yesterday's cup game, following an incident in a tackle just metres short of the Cougar's line.
A statement from the club said: "Warrington Wolves can confirm that the x-ray showed Ben has no fracture of his ankle.
"He has ligament damage that will have further investigation through the week to confirm diagnosis."
Harrison was set to travel to Loughborough with the rest of the England Elite Training squad this morning, but will likely miss out as Wolves attempt to diagnose the injury as quickly as possible.
