WARRINGTON Ladies rugby league team are hoping to emulate Wolves’ cup success as they prepare to face Featherstone Rovers Ladies in the final of the Women’s Rugby League Association’s Challenge Cup on Sunday, kick off 2pm.
Warrington’s side will be travelling to Featherstone’s Big Fella’s Stadium hoping to derail Rovers’ hopes of a league and cup double, but will face a stiff task against the title-winning side on their home turf.
WRLA Chair Steve Manning said: “I am sure that we will once again witness a great afternoon’s entertainment showcasing the quality of the rugby league that is played by the women.”
Tickets cost £4 for adults and £2 for children and the Challenge Cup final is preceded by the WRLA Plate final between Stanningley and York, kick off 12pm.
