WARRINGTON Wizards have moved up to second in LHF Healthplan National League Three - even though they did not play on Saturday.
Wizards' home match against Gateshead Storm was cancelled at the weekend after the visitors' injury crisis prevented them from fielding a team.
That meant Wizards were awarded a 24-0 victory, lifting them above Hemel Hempstead on points difference.
Wizards, who have no game this weekend but host league leaders Bramley on September 2, now have two games left to hang on to second place and make themselves favourites for a spot in the Grand Final, which will take place at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on October 8.
