WARRINGTON Cricket Club's second team lost by six wickets at Urmston.
The Walton Lea boys batted well with notable performances from B Bray, 47, and Patterson, 38, en route to amassing 217.
But Warrington's bowling allowed the home side to score with ease despite a late flurry of wickets.
A good batting performance from Warrington's third team against Upton's fourths gave them 181.
Wes Charlton bowled two spells for five wickets but Warrington could not get the last man out and had to settle for a draw, as was the case for the fourth team at home to Irby.
On a slow wicket, only Neil Owens, 39, made any headway in an innings that reached 126, while only a last stand of 29 denied Warrington victory after Simon Hewitt, 5 for 33, and Bruce Jardine, 3 for 15, proved too much for Irby in the early stages.
