PAUL Noone is aiming to dent Wolves' hopes of a play-off spot when he returns to The Halliwell Jones Stadium with Harlequins on Saturday.

Noone joined Quins on loan for the rest of the season last month after being informed his Wolves contract would not be renewed.

It ended an association spanning more than a decade and the 25-year-old admits it will be emotional to play against Paul Cullen's side this weekend.

But Noone is now focusing on his new club and, with Brian McDermott's Quins putting the pressure on Wolves for sixth spot, he is still targeting a play-off place.

"They're on 22 points and we're on 19 so the play-offs are in our minds," he said.

"There are four games left and every player wants to make the play-offs.

"We're doing well at home and we want to start doing well away now. Hopefully that will start on Saturday and we're confident."

Noone has started Quins' last two games and is looking forward to playing in front of family and friends again on Saturday.

He said: "I'd never even thought about the possibility of playing against Warrington, especially not so soon, and I was sad to leave.

"It will be strange to play against them because I was there since I was 14 and I'd never known anywhere else. But I can't wait for Saturday."

* Andrew Johns, who has been banned for two NRL games for verbal abuse, has described a return to Wolves one day as 'a strong possibility' but has again said that he will be staying with Newcastle Knights next year.
