WOLVES could face a loose forward dilemma on Saturday with Ben Westwood and Martin Gleeson's involvement in doubt.

Westwood, who has taken up the number 13 role for most of the season, has been struggling with a knee injury for the past few weeks and will have a final fitness test tomorrow, Friday.

Head coach Paul Cullen said: "His knee has swollen up in every training session and every game. He's played bravely over the past month because he has had an injury that has caused him concern."

Great Britain centre Gleeson has also played at loose forward in the latter stages of recent games and could be an option to replace Westwood, but he too is doubtful for the Harlequins battle after a shoulder injury sustained at Salford ruled him out of full training at the start of the week.

In the absence of Jon Clarke and Simon Grix - both ruled out for the season - as well as Rob Parker (knee), Andy Bracek, Paul Wood and Ben Harrison look like the only other possibilities to take the spot.

There is a chance that Wolves' under 21s match at Salford on Friday may prove to have been the last game of Mark Hilton's career with a knee ligament injury ruling him out for two to four weeks. Hilton is contemplating retiring at the end of the year.
