CROSFIELDS start the new Mid-Cheshire Soccer League campaign away to Poynton on Saturday.
They go into the new season with confidence after a friendly win against North West Counties side Ashton Town.
Stuart Bruce, who was excellent throughout along with Mark Boardman, Scott Swainbank and Steve Ashton, hit the winner from 20 yards.
Two days earlier, Crosfields defeated Golborne Sports 3-1 with goals from Neil Bradbury, Danny Gallop and Craig McDougall but Paul Yates was Crosfields' only scorer in a 4-1 loss at home to Waterloo Dock last week.
Crosfields' reserves, who lost 3-2 against Moore United in a warm-up game, entertain Poynton in the league at Hood Lane on Saturday at 3pm.
