SIX members of a Warrington team completed the course at the gruelling Ironman Triathlon European Championships in Germany.
Shaun Keenaghan was the quickest of the sextet from Team Meridian, who are based at the David Lloyd leisure centre in Great Sankey, finishing the Frankfurt course in 12hrs 15mins.
After a 2.4-mile swim, 112 miles of cycling and a full marathon, Jason Kiernan crossed the line in 12hrs 27mins, followed by Mike Griffiths, 13hrs 51mins, Ian Martin, 14hrs 13mins, Steve Coulton, 14hrs 31mins, and Phil Allman, 14hrs 36mins.
Paul Davis did not travel to Germany but completed the Longest Day Triathlon in 12hrs 52mins.
