APPLETON Women beat Oakmere by five wickets to move up to third in Cheshire Women’s Cricket League Division One.
Oakmere were restricted to 134 all out thanks to great bowling from Nathalie Long, 4 for 16, and Annie Rashid, 3 for 11.
Emma Barlow, 60 not out, and Annie Rashid, 22, guided Appleton to victory with eight overs to spare.
