A FANTASTIC game in hot conditions saw an ever-improving Crosfields side end the season on a high with tries from Thomas Davis, Callum Talbot, Kyle Brown, Lloyd Halpin, Alex Tinsley and James Lawrie.

Man of the match went to Alex Tinsley, Callum Talbot was top tackler and Ben Dixon collected the coaches’ award.


Rylands Sharks u10 10 Wigan St Pats Cobras u10 24

AN action-packed game played by two skilful and passionate teams ended in defeat for Rylands.

The scoreline did not reflect how well the Sharks played against a well-trained St Pats team. Tries came from Casey Brown and Kieran Evans, goals from Casey Brown. Awards went to the whole team.


Portico Vine u9 10 Woolston Rovers u9 4

WOOLSTON Rovers ended their season with a tough encounter against a well-organised Portico side.

Man of the match Jack Connor made some darting breaks, while Tom Mills led the way forward with some massive, driving runs. Jake Bray was top tackler.


Latchford u9 28 Wigan St Cuthberts u9 20

LATCHFORD enjoyed a fantastic end to a great season in a game that saw both teams work hard in defence and show strong attacking skills.

Tries came from Connor Leyland, Henry Davidson, James Heaton, Jacob Hornby, Jack Wilson, Liam Wray and Jacob Chamberlain.

Man of the match was Nathan Ashbrook, top tacklers were Jack Wilson and Byron Fleming, parents’ award went to Liam Wray and coaches’ award to Jacob Chamberlain. There was also some good confident play from Aaron Chapman.

RYLANDS managed to pull off a win in their last game of the season.

Tries were scored by Oliver Livett, three, Liam Brinksman, two, and George Roby. Man of the match was Riley Jordan, top tackler Matthew Morris and most improved player Lewis Blackburn.


Crosfields u8 44 Hindley u8 16

CROSFIELDS won after a great team performance.

Tries were scored by Jamie Barber, five, Lewis Hall, three, top tackler Spencer Williams-Rudd, Cameron Henderson and Brechan Stephenson who also bagged joint man of the match with Thomas Neary.

Players’ player was Zak Cameron, coach's award went to James Geraghty and Louis Rosslyn and most improved was Kyle Webster.
