BRIAN Carney has given his reaction to today's announcement that he will be joining Warrington Wolves from rugby union side Munster at the end of the month.
"I'm really looking forward to a new challenge with Warrington Wolves and am equally looking forward to working with the squad and Tony Smith and hope that I can add something to their game," he said.
"I'd also like to thank the players and everyone involved in Munster for their time and efforts. I enjoyed my time there."
Wolves head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith is looking forward to working with Carney.
He said: “I am really excited by the prospect of getting to work with Brian.
"He’s a championship player and his experience and knowhow will be a real asset to the squad.”
