NOW there’s a rare sight.
Three Warrington Wolves head coaches on one bench.
Current head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith, second from right, and previous head coach Jimmy Lowes (now first-team coach), far right, are joined by former boss Paul Cullen, second from left, at the back of the Craven Park main stand on Saturday night for Wolves’ cup clash with Hull Kingston Rovers.
Judging by the expressions on the faces of Wolves’ current coaching staff as they took their seats at kick off, they had no idea that current Widnes Vikings boss Cullen would be in situ 369 days after his reign with Wolves ended.
Cullen was at the game in a media role and looked pretty pleased afterwards that Wolves had sealed their place in the semi finals.
