TONY Smith is keen to ensure his players' feet remain firmly rooted to the ground ahead of tomorrow's Challenge Cup quarter final.

Just two games from Wembley and enjoying a run of five wins in six games, there is a buzz at Wolves ahead of their trip to Hull KR.

But head of coaching and rugby Smith is keen not to get ahead of himself and denied that this was the club's biggest game of the season so far.

He said: "Whichever game we are about to play is the biggest game of the season so far.

"That’s the way it is in my mind, no game’s bigger than any other and that goes for friendlies, grand finals. They’re all important.

"Every time you go out to perform for your club and every time you pull on that shirt is important."

Smith is also keen to avoid any talk of a Wembley final, knowing the magnitude of the task that faces his team in their last eight clash at Craven Park.

He added: "I hope there's been no talk of Wembley among my players.

"If there has I haven’t heard it because we don’t play at Wembley this week, we play at Hull KR and if there’s any way talk of Wembley can help us, I’m yet to hear what it is.

"We’re playing at Craven Park and we’ve got a tough game.

"We’ll need to do well in all facets of the game and they all need to piece together.

"If you don’t you’ll get beaten, especially against a team like Hull.

"They don’t give you much and they kick you to death. They get field position because of their kicking game and they’ve got some quality players who will make you pay if they do get field position."
