WARRINGTON rivals Poulton Park and Alder Root look to be the main championship contenders after round one of the Junior Golf League.
Alder Root finished first at Brookfield Golf Club with 173 points, while Poulton Park were second on 162 points.
Brookfield came third with 159 and last year’s champions Peover were fourth on 157 points.
For the first time in years, two junior girls competed, with Ella McClintock from Brookfield and Lauren Littler of Alder Root Golf Club both playing well.
Division One was won by Daniel McDermott, 37 points, from Peover's Robert Hart, 35 points.
Ella McClintock won Division Two ahead of Alder Root's Rhys Fishwick, 36 points.
