APPLETON women inflicted a heavy defeat on Hawarden Park in the Twenty20 West Division.
Emma Barlow and Natalie Lyons reached the retirement score of 25 as Appleton set a target of 111 for 4.
Six different bowlers took wickets as Hawarden were bundled out for 36, Jenny Clarke finishing with 3 for 18 and Nathalie Long taking two wickets for no runs.
