A NARROW defeat at Hull saw Wolves’ under 18s drop to third in the Gillette Academy Championship.
It was only their second defeat of the current campaign but not the ideal preparation for Saturday’s game against league leaders Wigan at the Co-operative Community Stadium, kick off 3.30pm.
England under 16s centre Ryan Shaw kept up his recent run of try-scoring form by touching, while Gareth O’Brien added a try and two goals.
Wolves were forced to play most of the second half with 12 men after the dismissal of Jack Cooper on 49 minutes for kicking.
