Hull Reserves 26 Wolves Reserves 22

WARRINGTON Wolves Reserves had their 100 per cent record destroyed after they were beaten 26-22 by Hull FC on Saturday.

Now leaders Wigan are the only team in the Reserve Team Championship to boast a perfect record, although Warrington have a chance to change that when the teams meet at Wilderspool on Saturday, kick off 12noon.

Tries against Hull came from Alex Hurst, playing in the unfamiliar position of full back, Craig Harvey, Alex Thompson and forgotten man Kevin Penny.

Winger Penny, who has only made two first-grade apperances all season, was left out of Tony Smith’s side for the Super League clash with Hull despite injuries to three first-choice backs.

Harvey also kicked three goals in the defeat.

Warrington: Alex Hurst; Matthew Lomax, Rhys Williams, Danny Martin, Kevin Penny; Craig Harvey, Nigel Scott; Mike Cooper, Alex Thompson, Adam Neal, Lee Mitchell, Chris Dean, Tyrone McCarthy. Subs. Ben Mellor, Dave Saxon, Jack Reid, Yaad Johal.
