CHRIS Hicks’ fine appearance run for Warrington Wolves came to an end at Hull FC on Saturday night.
The Australian winger has proved his durability matches his points scoring since joining the club from Manly at the end of 2007.
Hicks, who recently penned a new deal to keep him at The Halliwell Jones Stadium until the end of 2010, missed his first game since arriving at the club when groin trouble kept him out of the clash at the KC Stadium the scene of his heroics last year when he kicked a last-second winning conversion from the touchline.
He appeared in all 30 games last season and the first 14 of the current campaign.
And with 10 tries in four games prior to the trip to Hull Wolves fans will be hoping he does not have to spend too long recovering on the sidelines.
