WARRINGTON Service Area teams were outdone by their St Helens counterparts last weekend, with the under 12s, under 13s and under 15s falling short and only the under 14s winning.

This week, the teams will look to bounce back against Allerdale. The under 12s and under 13s are playing away from home, while the under 14s and under 15s host their rivals.

The under 12s only try against St Helens came when Jake Spedding out-stepped the defence and raced 60m to score.

Jack Inman converted for the extra two points but Warrington eventually lost 30-6.

Goal kicking proved decisive in the under 13s game.

St Helens led 24-4 at half time and although Warrington came back, they ultimately fell short, losing 24-16.

Tries were scored by Will Weir, Joe Ryan, Joel Albiston and Kane Ditchfield.

The under 14s won 50-0 with tries from Lewis Charnock, three, Sam Woodall, David Lea, Andre Savelio, Declan Patton, Ryan Mercer, Lewis McQuillan and seven goals from Lewis Charnock.

But the under 15s lost 24-6, with Jason Blackmore scoring the only try and Jamie Hodgkiss kicking the goal.
