KEY Wolves pair Adrian Morley and Lee Briers could return for Saturday's game at Hull FC, kick off 6pm, after being named in the 19-man squad.

Both players have missed the last two games, Morley with a broken hand and Briers with a hamstring injury but head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith said earlier this week they were close to recovery.

“Mozzer and Lee joined in training this week and will undergo further assessment on Thursday to see if they’ll play on Saturday," said Smith.

“If there’s any risk involved of re-injury or they’re not at a level where they can compete to their best, they won’t play. Paul’s come on pretty well so I’d be surprised if he’s not involved.

“We’ve had a couple of injuries to key players but that happens.

“You’d like your key players on the field, especially with the form that Mozzer and Lee were in before they got injured, both of them have been in outstanding form.

“But I think we’ve coped reasonably well. I can’t say we haven’t learned some stuff along the way, each of our coaches and players, but I’ve been pretty pleased.”

Paul Rauhihi and Vinnie Anderson are also included after being late drop-outs from the squad for last week's 56-8 win at Featherstone.

Rauhihi has shaken off injury while Vinnie Anderson returns after the birth of his daughter.

Paul Johnson is absent with a shoulder strain and Mike Cooper drops out despite an impressive performance from the bench against Fev.

Wolves' 19-man squad to face Hull FC: Louis Anderson, Vinnie Anderson, Matty Blythe, Chris Bridge, Lee Briers, Garreth Carvell, Jon Clarke, Simon Grix, Ben Harrison, Chris Hicks, Mickey Higham, Matt King, Richie Mathers, Michael Monaghan, Adrian Morley, Paul Rauhihi, Chris Riley, Ben Westwood, Paul Wood.
